We are currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate Regional Manager / Responsible Individual to oversee the development and on-going operation of a new region of three children’s homes across the midlands as part of an already well-established business. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role from the very beginning, and you will be helping to set up and register the homes, recruit and develop the teams and establish a culture of excellence and care that makes a real difference in young people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities (not exhaustive)
- Lead on the set-up and registration of three new children’s homes.
- Act as the Responsible Individual (RI), ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and all relevant legislation
- Recruit and develop RMs and staff teams across your region ensuring that they are equipped to deliver high quality care
- Drive a child-centred culture, promoting positive outcomes for the children and young people in our care
- Oversee performance, quality assurance and continuous improvement across the homes
- Work collaboratively with external partners, local authorities and internal teams
About You
- Proven experience as a RI, a Registered Manager or in a multi-leadership role within children’s residential care.
- Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, Children’s Home (England) Regs 2015 and Quality Standards
- A level 5 diploma in leadership and management for residential childcare is essential
- A level 7 qualification (or working towards) is an advantage
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
